Gene & Barbara Sullivan chartered the car for a
cross-country circle trip vacation with family members and friends.
The trip was programmed for 7,242 miles on Amtrak, but the eastbound
California Zephyr was detoured over Union Pacific's Overland Route between
Salt Lake City and Denver, increasing the distance traveled on this
trip.
