We are leasing MOUNT VERNON to Virginia Rail Investment Corporation to operate with their KITCHI GAMMI CLUB for a June 13-28, 2008 "public" trip from New York NY to Fort Worth TX and return, for "Lone Star Rails 2008", the annual convention of the National Railway Historical Society. This trip will be managed/operated by Virginia Rail Investment Corporation; please check their website for schedule, fares, etc.

We are also planning a July 23-30, 2008 trip for MOUNT VERNON from New York and Washington to Chicago and return, with a rare mileage sidetrip on a special train thru eastern Kentucky and Tennessee. We have advertised this very special opportunity only to our previous passengers.

We are planning to attend the 2009 convention of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO), which will feature a special train of private cars originating in Washington DC, passing thru Savannah GA and traveling the length of the Florida East Coast between Jacksonville and Miami. We will post more details here as AAPRCO solidifies their plans and the details become available. This will probably be a late October - early November 2009 trip of about 7 days with an estimated fare of approximately $2,750 per person for double occupany of a bedroom.
